Coast to Coast AM - 10-20-05 - Strange & Ghoulish Tales
http://www.mediafire.com/?a6383k854e8pjze <--
Host: George Noory
Guests: Lionel Fanthorpe
Prolific author and Anglican Priest, Lionel Fanthorpe returned to share strange and ghoulish tales. At one point he even sang his own composition about a sasquatch! Among the stories he presented: In White City, New Mexico at an old museum he encountered a bizarre miniature mummy. Noting that the location wasn't far from Roswell, he wondered if the creature could have been an alien. At a haunted bookshop in San Antonio, Texas a section of books were often found on the floor or in disarray in the morning when they opened the store. It's possible the store may have been the site where the great Alamo heroes were cremated by Santa Anna's men, Fanthorpe learned. The Croglin Grange Vampire case from Cumberland, England dates back to around 1870 (though events may have taken place earlier), in which a scarecrow-like creature was traced back to a tomb, where a mummified corpse was found with fresh blood on its lips. Fanthorpe said that he occasionally conducts exorcisms such as on a car with the license plate of ARK666 which was suspected to be haunted by Aleister Crowley. He also performed an exorcism of a haunted cinema in Bristol, and as the spirits allegedly left, the smell changed from that of decay to fresh mountain pine.

Coast to Coast AM - 08-03-11 - UFOs on the Record
http://www.mediafire.com/?62untrka270cp9q <--
Host: George Noory
Guests: Leslie Kean, Katherine Albrecht
During the middle two hours, investigative journalist Leslie Kean discussed firsthand accounts of UFO encounters including reports from top military generals and pilots. She looked at the 5% of cases that can't be explained in official aviation/government investigations. One such incident was the November 2006 UFO incursion at Chicago's O'Hare airport, seen by witnesses on the ground at the United Airlines terminal at 4:30 in the afternoon for about 8-10 minutes before the metallic object shot up into a cloud bank. The FAA tried to explain the incident away, first claiming it was the reflection of airport lights, then later saying it was simply a weather phenomenon. In contrast to some other countries, the US government has shown a pattern of not wanting to acknowledge the UFO issue, possibly because they don't want to admit they lack control over their airspace, she noted.
Among the contributors to Kean's book, UFOs on the Record, were Capt. Rodrigo Bravo Garrido who works for the Aviation Army of Chile (a country that is forthcoming about UFO information), as well as John Callahan who was the former head of Accidents and Investigations at the FAA. He reported on a 1986 incident in Alaska where a gigantic walnut-shaped object was witnessed by 3 pilots of a Japanese cargo plane for over 30 minutes. He was able to synchronize the radar with the voice recordings to match the pilot descriptions.
In regards to the Belgian UFO wave of 1989-90, the photographer who took a widely disseminated image of a hovering triangular craft is now claiming that he hoaxed it. Yet, "there were so many people who saw the object at other times...this [triangular] object was visiting Belgium for a year and a half and seen by thousands of people. There are 25 huge notebooks of data," on the case, she detailed. Kean featured other significant UFO photographs in her book, such as the anomalous craft over Costa Rica in 1971, and a metallic object seen by the Brazilian Navy over Trinidade Island in 1958.
The last hour of the show featured Open Lines.
Albrecht Update
First hour guest, consumer privacy expert Katherine Albrecht talked about her recovery from breast cancer-- she is balancing chemotherapy with natural supplements. She spoke on behalf of startpage.com-- the privacy search engine, and noted that if she had been conducting searches on Google regarding her medical situation, they would have stored that information about her in their database. Startpage retrieves data from Google and the user remains anonymous.

Coast to Coast AM - 08-02-11 - World Affairs - Conscious Evolution
http://www.mediafire.com/?f64z73gz78h6x58 <--
Host: George Noory
Guests: Joel Skousen, Barbara Marx Hubbard
In the first half of the show, political scientist and expert in relocation for personal security, Joel Skousen, gave a US & world affairs update. He argued that the US Congress shouldn't have voted for the debt ceiling agreement-- it would have forced the government to start to stay within their means. There was no real threat of a default, and the US govt. actually had enough income to make its payments, he said. "You can't solve the debt problem by taking on more debt...there is no political will...to seriously cut benefits," he added.
Skousen believes the Russians will eventually (10 years or more from now) attack the United States with a nuclear first strike, and the Chinese will back them. This war will allow US leaders to declare all debts gone, he predicted. But, "once the government starts to warn us that Russia and China is a threat, it will be too late. Mark my words," he declared. The first strike would involve 3,000 warheads, hitting the major American military bases, yet the effects of nuclear winter wouldn't be as bad as thought, with 80% of the population surviving-- especially if they have some fallout protection, he noted. Skousen has a new edition out of his book Strategic Relocation: North American Guide to Safe Places.
------------------------
In the latter half, visionary, social pioneer and author Barbara Marx Hubbard discussed the idea of conscious evolution, and how humankind must evolve or face extinction. She suggested that evolution can occur by choice rather chance, and while many are focused on doom & gloom 2012 scenarios, she presented a hopeful vision of our future. "I think we're seeing the emergence of a universal species...we're going to have extended life, extended intelligence, extended contact throughout the universe, that we'll be freed up from repetitive labor...and the species itself will evolve into a co-created humanity... But if we don't, if we stay self-centered, separate, competitive, overpopulating and polluting, we won't make it," she stated.
We're seeing a breakthrough of more people becoming conscious of god, super-nature, spirit, or tendency of higher order-- a transcending impulse of higher evolution, she continued. Hubbard, now 81, shared some of the fascinating paths in her life, how she turned from a housewife into a "futurist," her relationship with Buckminster Fuller, and details of her run for Vice President in 1984 (Neale Donald Walsch recently penned a biography of Hubbard called The Mother of Invention).

Coast to Coast AM - 08-01-11 - Space, Mars, & Energy
http://www.mediafire.com/?5d346dqmw803hwp <--
Host: George Noory
Guests: Robert Zubrin, Galen Cook
Author and aerospace engineer Dr. Robert Zubrin spoke about the importance of space exploration, and colonizing Mars, as well as alternative energy solutions for the United States. As we enter into the post-Shuttle era, he expressed concern that with economic cutbacks, NASA may take a budget hit. One hope is that the Dragon spacecraft developed by Elon Musk's SpaceX company could be used to transport astronauts to the ISS.
As he points out in the revised edition of his book The Case for Mars, NASA's robotics program has been a big success, and the data retrieved by the rovers confirmed his viewpoints, originally published in 1997, that the planet contains a large amount of water. A friendly competition between nations, like the Olympics, could be a good way to go about space exploration, in contrast to the Space Station, which in the spirit of cooperation has turned out to be slow and costly, he said. The Mars Society, which Zubrin is president of, is holding a conference, open to the public, this week in Dallas.
Zubrin advocated for the wide-scale adoption of methanol as an alternative to gasoline. If cars were designed as flex fuel, the US could then make and market ethanol, adding about 5 million jobs to the economy, and relieving the country from the need for expensive, foreign oil, he argued. He supports H.R. 1687: The Open Fuel Standard Act of 2011, and suggested that people contact their congressional representatives to push for its passage.
D.B. Cooper Update
First hour guest, attorney Galen Cook discussed news in the D.B. Cooper mystery, and how the FBI may be closer to solving the case. Based on his interviews and research, Cook has concluded that a deceased man named Bill Gossett was Cooper, and the FBI has informed him that they do consider him to be one of their suspects.

Coast to Coast AM - 07-31-11 - Ancient Aliens
Coast to Coast AM - 07-31-11 - Ancient Aliens
http://www.mediafire.com/?mfhm55poulgi719 <--
Host: George Knapp
Guests: Giorgio Tsoukalos
Producer of Ancient Aliens, and publisher of Legendary Times magazine, Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, joined George Knapp to ponder the idea that extraterrestrials have been visiting us since the dawn of man and how they continue to visit us. The new season of Ancient Aliens just kicked off with an episode tied in with the movie Cowboys & Aliens. Native American lore refers to such things as ant people, and flying shields-- this might have been how they would describe aliens and their craft without having a technological frame of reference, he explained. The Kachinas were said to descend from the sky and give knowledge to Native American ancestors, and some carvings they made of them look like modern day astronauts, with helmets, antennae, and tubes, he continued.
Tsoukalos talked about a newspaper report of a UFO incident that took place in 1865 in Montana. A trapper saw a fiery object crash, and tracked it down. He found what looked like a great big rock that had chambers with hieroglyphs in it. Some Native Americans described Thunderbirds as having skins like metal, impenetrable to arrows-- rather than birds, these might have been alien craft. He believes that in cases where ancient people referred to gods, they were actually talking about ET visitors who would seem like gods, because they didn't understand their technology.
Written in the Egyptian text, al-khitat, "the pyramids were built by the Egyptians with the assistance of the guardians in the sky, or the watchers from heaven," Tsoukalos detailed. He estimated that the pyramids at Giza were erected 12,500 years ago, during a "golden age," when the structures lined up with what was then the position of Orion's belt in the sky. He also spoke about the Nazca lines in Peru, which he suggested may have originally been part of an ET mining operation that left tracks, and the locals expanded on the lines in order to get the "gods" to come back.

Coast to Coast AM - 02-08-05 - Templar Secrets
http://www.mediafire.com/?1c54l3lpihh2gxn <--
Host: George Noory
Guests: Lionel Fanthorpe, David Grinspoon, Seth Shostak
Author and Anglican Priest Lionel Fanthorpe returned to talk about Knights Templar secrets and the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark may have originally belonged to the Egyptians and it could have had alchemical powers to transform energy into a mysterious "fifth element," he said. It was then taken by Moses, he suggested, and later possibly brought to Ethiopia through the Queen of Sheba, who may have had a son with King Solomon.
Eventually the Ark may have been hidden in France by the Templars. In 1885 an impoverished priest located there suddenly came into wealth, and Fanthorpe surmised that he may have discovered the Ark and sold it.
The Templars may have just been the "tip of the iceberg," with their secrets stemming from "ancient guardians" set up by ETs, he posited. But what if these secrets became lost or distorted in some way? asked Fanthorpe. Like a powerful technology, they might do either immense good or harm. The Templars, he said, could have been guarding the artifact itself or perhaps more importantly the "guidebook" for how to use it.
