Host: John B. Wells
Guests: Steve Quayle

Filling in for George, John B. Wells welcomed researcher Steve Quayle for the entire 4-hour program. He discussed disturbing trends in America and globally, the elite's agenda against humanity, as well as how we could be facing epic Earth changes & solar disruptions. With the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act, the US government can accuse people of domestic terrorism and effectively remove them from their families without any kind of due process, thus trampling on the Bill of Rights, Quayle lamented. "We are, let's face it, under a state of de facto martial law right now," with our rights stripped away, a militarized police force, and intrusive surveillance, he continued. Further, he suggested that the US government is tracking citizens' purchases using various algorithms, and eventually plans to remove guns from homes.

A report has emerged that there could be 14,000 excess deaths in the US linked to Fukushima radiation. The seriousness of the situation in Japan has been hushed up in the mainstream media, Quayle noted, adding that according to his source, there are possible plans for the evacuation of Tokyo. Regarding vaccinations in the US, which eventually may be made mandatory, he believes they put people's health into a compromised state, and are ultimately part of the elite's plan to reduce the population. Chemtrails are another method being used to attack people's immune systems, he suggested.

Quayle said he is keeping an eye on volcanic activity in Iceland, because it could potentially set off the mid-Atlantic ridge in the Azores, causing a huge tsunami. We are seeing antipodal quakes, where seismic activity in one location can trigger a quake on the opposite spot on the globe, he stated. Weather modification technology and scalar weaponry may be increasing climate problems, and quakes, he added. People need to take survival preparedness seriously, and should make sure they have a "bug-out bag"-- a portable kit containing items needed to survive for 72 hours when evacuating from a disaster, Quayle advised. He recommended Holly Deyo's book, Dare to Prepare, for complete information on this topic.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-28-2011 - Mushrooms & Origins of Christmas

Coast to Coast AM - 12-28-2011 - Mushrooms & Origins of Christmas

http://www.mediafire.com/?syjy2e8wh7hxom4  <--

Host: Rob Simone
Guests: Jan Irvin, Linda Schurman

Filling in for George, Rob Simone welcomed author and researcher Jan Irvin for a discussion on the earliest known forms of religion and nature worship and their connections to our modern religions and holidays; and how special plants used in shamanic rituals, including the Amanita muscaria mushroom, were ingested by those seeking higher consciousness. According to some academics & Cabalists, in the story of Adam & Eve, the Tree of Knowledge was actually the magic mushrooms, he noted, adding that in the ancient Vedic (India) tradition, "soma" is described as a plant or fruit that brings spiritual enlightenment. Scholars today suspect that soma was a mushroom or similar substance.

Irvin connected the origins of Christmas and Santa Claus to the use of psychedelic mushrooms and shamanism. Santa Claus evolved from Herne, the ancient shamanic god of Europe and Siberia, to Pan the licentious Roman god who imbibed mushrooms, to Krampus, St. Nicholas's devilish helper who dealt out punishment to naughty children, he detailed. Even Santa's red and white garb mirrors the look of the Amanita mushroom, he continued.

Regarding current religious uses of mushrooms, James "Flaming Eagle" Mooney of the Oklevueha Native American Church told Irvin that Native Americans still very much respect the Amanitas and the mushrooms, even though their church is more recognized for their use of peyote. Interestingly, Mooney and his associates are working on research that shows that the Mormon religion was originally founded on both the use of peyote and the Amanita muscaria, Irvin reported.

2012 Predictions

First hour guest, professional astrologer Linda Schurman shared her predictions for 2012, and reviewed some of her accurate hits for 2011. She'd foreseen that 2011 would be the beginning of a second American revolution-- and cited the Occupy Wall Street movement as evidence for that. Over the next several years, she predicts that the Occupy movement will gain strength and cohesion, and possibly form a third political party. For 2012, she foresees major tectonic activity with earthquakes possibly occurring in Mexico, California, the Northwest Coast of the US, Japan, Alaska, Chile, Iceland, and Italy, with the most intense period being April through June. She also sees the economy continuing to falter in the new year, a worldwide water crisis, and a protest similar to Tiananmen Square happening in China in the Spring.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-27-2011 - Ancient Civilizations & Cataclysms

Coast to Coast AM - 12-27-2011 - Ancient Civilizations & Cataclysms

http://www.mediafire.com/?5h3op4em226j5k0  <--

Host: Whitley Strieber
Guests: Graham Hancock, Ralph Steiner

Whitley Strieber welcomed author and investigator Graham Hancock, who discussed evidence for an ancient advanced human civilization that was destroyed 12,000 years ago as well as his research into the Ark of the Covenant. Hancock cited maps from antiquity, which depicted how the planet looked during the ice age, as a key piece of evidence for this lost civilization. He explained that the existence of the maps reveals that there was a culture from that era that was both capable of navigating around the globe and creating the sophisticated charts. He stressed that this civilization "may not have conquered interstellar space" and was possibly just a small group sharing the Earth with less advanced stone age humans.

On why the concept of an advanced ancient culture continues to be overlooked by archaeologists, Hancock pointed to a pair of fallacies which skew mainstream research. First, he said, archaeologists make the mistake, when looking at anomalous ancient sites, of attributing their creation to the latest culture in the area. As such, the researchers are then forced to develop convoluted and illogical theories on how these primitive people created such elaborate structures. Additionally, Hancock observed that archaeologists "come to the study of history and pre-history with a reference frame already in place." This perspective, he said, is that "there are no mysteries there" and that human development has taken place over one long upward trajectory.

Regarding his research into the Ark of the Covenant, he recalled visiting a cathedral in Ethiopia, where it is claimed the relic resides. Outside of the building, Hancock met an old monk who said that he was the "guardian of the Ark." The monk rebuffed his request to view the relic, told him that "the Ark is a thing of fire," and noted that the device had caused him to be blinded due to severe cataracts over his eyes. Hancock also noted that several fundamental religions view the Ark as a critical element in their respective apocalyptic prophecies. As such, he suggested that, for the safety of all mankind, it is kept in such a remote location because "maybe that's a really good place for this dangerous, poisonous object to be."

Tesla's Lost Work

In the first hour, reporter Ralph Steiner talked about why Nicola Tesla's work remains classified and what is still hidden deep in the government's secret vaults. He explained that the Tesla papers, which were confiscated by the FBI following his death in 1943, are currently kept at Los Alamos National Laboratory and are highly classified. He theorized that the US government used the inventor's research to develop "extremely sophisticated and powerful weapons technology." Therefore, he said, the materials are likely still being kept secret because the government does not want the information to fall into enemy hands and it also keeps our own exotic weaponry shrouded in mystery. Over the course of his appearance, Steiner also discussed Mars anomalies, parallel dimensions, and the research being done at CERN.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-23-2011 - Christmas Folklore & Open Lines

http://www.mediafire.com/?0bycbdmurzb5tt1  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Varla Ventura

Author Varla Ventura joined George Noory to share some bizarre and weird Christmas stories from around the world. The Christmas season is supernaturally charged, she said, noting how various cultures believe that spirits can more easily step into our dimension at this very special time of year. In some Scandinavian countries, it is tradition to lay out a supper for any ghosts that might roam into one's home, as a way of honoring the dead and insuring good fortune for the coming year, Ventura explained. This is similar to the Western practice of leaving milk and cookies out for Santa Claus, she added.

There are numerous beliefs about magical things occurring on Christmas Eve. In old Europe it was commonly held that water left out on that night would turn into wine, Ventura continued. Water drawn from a well on Christmas Eve was changed to blood, and if gazed upon, would shorten the curious viewer's lifespan to less than a year, she noted. A Slavic belief held that young women could see their future spouses on Christmas Eve. According to this tradition, a single woman put out a loaf of bread, along with a plate, knife and fork, and in the night the 'spirit' of her future husband would arrive and throw the knife at her, Ventura said. If the knife hits and injures the woman, her future spouse will die young; if it does not hit her, he will be a good and kind man, she revealed.

Some believe that animals can converse and be understood by humans at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve. Ventura recounted a story about a woman who, after overhearing a dog and cat talk about her impending demise, ran out of her house and into the hands of thieves who murdered her. In Scandinavia, folkloric tales warned people to stay in after dark for fear of encountering vicious Christmas Trolls who dance and drink throughout the 12 nights of Christmas, she reported. Ventura also spoke about Ruprecht, a devil-like figure and companion of Saint Nicholas who beats bad children with sticks and chains, and, in some cases, takes them home in a sack for dinner.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-24-2011 - Dream Insights & Hypnosis

Coast to Coast AM - 12-24-2011 - Dream Insights & Hypnosis

http://www.mediafire.com/?44e992d74eyc4l3  <--

Host: Ian Punnett
Guests: Dr. Judith Orloff, Rick Collingwood

In the first half of the program, medical intuitive and psychiatrist Dr. Judith Orloff talked about how dreams can provide psychological healing and valuable insights for the future. "I look at dreams as shining lights in the darkness... giving us information about ourselves," Orloff said. Dreams can show a person what they're afraid of and how to be healed from it, she explained. They can guide one toward a certain direction in life as well, Orloff said, noting that she herself listened to dreams about becoming a psychiatrist. Even nightmares have the power to heal, as they can help the mind purge inner darkness, she revealed.

Orloff encouraged listeners to develop their intuitive nature and dream lives as the year 2012 approaches. "We need to summon all of our energies beyond the linear mind. The linear mind won't be enough to handle [the challenges of the new year]," she said. People must instead look to their hearts, intuition, and dreams to get guidance and to conjure the necessary positive energy, Orloff added. She also spoke about the challenges of finding a good therapist, noting the importance of having good chemistry between patient and doctor, and seeing changes in one's life fairly quickly.

-------------------------------------------------

During the last two hours of the show, hypnotherapy expert Rick Collingwood discussed using hypnosis to help better one's life and maintain a positive outlook. "Our thoughts create our feelings," Collingwood stated. If people let in all of the negative stuff, it will become who they are, he noted. According to Collingwood, there is no reason to dwell in negativity as 90% of one's thoughts and fears never come to fruition. Whenever negative thoughts do enter the mind, he recommended saying, "You have no place here, go away." While it may not be possible to change adverse circumstances, people can always change how they think about them, he added.

This is where hypnosis comes into play. The subconscious is filled with patterns and programs, similar to a computer, which get enhanced by one's thoughts and feelings, Collingwood continued. As an example, Collingwood noted that if a person is having a difficult time finding employment, he or she may come to believe that a job will never be found, become negative about future employment opportunities, and simply stop looking. Hypnosis changes how that person reacts to the environment by replacing one program for another, more useful, one, he said. Several of Collingwood's self-hypnosis programs are available on iTunes.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-25-2011 - Lunar Anomalies

http://www.mediafire.com/?74oaa7nd5wdi7ou  <-

Host: George Knapp
Guests: Ken Johnston

Ken Johnston, who worked for NASA's Lunar Receiving Laboratory during the Apollo missions, says he was fired for telling the truth. He joined George Knapp to share his contention that NASA knows there is evidence for both modern and ancient artifacts on the moon, as well as an active base there. He explained that in his position as Photo Control Dept. manager, he had access to highly detailed film and negatives taken during the Apollo missions. In viewing 16mm film shot by Apollo 14, they saw a shadow cast in the bottom of a crater, "and as we approached it, in the dark area there were like five domes lit from the inside, and a little plume that looked like steam streaking up above it," Johnston said.

There are also Apollo pictures that show perfectly round holes, which he's concluded are vents rather than craters because they don't have ridges. Photos taken during the Apollo 15 mission show beams stretching across the surface that expose some of the lunar substructure, Johnston noted, adding that during seismic experiments the moon would ring like a bell, possibly indicating it was hollow. One of the more striking anomalous photos was taken by a Russian lunar orbiter which showed a fractured dome on the moon's surface, he commented. Another image (see below) taken by the Lunik 13 Russian craft, looks like a drilling device and definitely appears artificial, he continued.

Johnston also talked about some of his early UFO contact experiences, where he was told he would become an ambassador between humans and ETs. He believes there is a group of ETs called the Watchers that keep tabs on humanity. Interestingly, he learned that Apollo astronauts were warned off by beings at one of the craters, and told not to return to the moon, and subsequently NASA scrapped the rest of its planned Apollo missions.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-22-2011 - YU55, ETs, & Roswell

Coast to Coast AM - 12-22-2011 - YU55, ETs, & Roswell

http://www.mediafire.com/?vnptxh3z5dpbox1  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Linda Moulton Howe, James McCanney

Investigative reporter, Linda Moulton Howe, discussed anomalies found on asteroid YU55, as well as recent sightings of strange aerial objects in Canada. She also shared witness testimonies regarding non-human entities seen in a hanger at Roswell in 1947, and the close encounter of a large disk which demonstrated cloaking abilities in 2006. In her first report, Linda spoke with Dr. Lance Benner, of NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, regarding images taken of the YU55 asteroid. He said that JPL was surprised to see a bulge at the equator of the asteroid, which is an unexpected feature based on its rotation period. Additionally, Benner noted that images of the object show a "sharp, pointy hill" that is unlike anything he's seen on other asteroids.

During the second segment, Linda reported on Greg Crane, an Ontario native who has captured a series of puzzling photographs of anomalous lights repeatedly seen in the sky. Having originally been baffled by the pulsating nature of these lights, Crane explained, he decided to hook a camera and telescope up to a tripod in order to take long-exposure photos of the phenomena and get a better view of them. The subsequent images show bizarre and erratic patterns caused by the object. Crane theorized that the light may be some kind of antigravitic craft and the patterns are due to the influence of Earth's gravity on the object. More here.

Next, Linda shared her conversation with Patrick Murphy, whose father, Francis, was stationed at the Roswell Army Air Field in July of 1947. Patrick revealed that his father saw cargo planes arriving at the base hours after the alleged crash as well as ambulances moments after the event. Subsequently, a hangar at the base was deemed "off limits" to all but the highest ranking officers. His father was told by a security officer that amongst the debris was "strange looking metal" and body parts which did not belong to humans. Later, Francis would oversee the loading of mysterious cargo which had no manifest and consisted of crates that were only numbered and noted to be bound for Wright Patterson AFB. Further info.

In her last report, Linda spoke with Patrick Colligan, who recounted the breathtaking UFO sighting he had in 2006, while working as a correctional officer at a state prison in Roswell. During a night shift, he suddenly heard a series of "pops" and then an electrical crackling sound. Following that, a row of white "lights" appeared in the sky. Upon getting a better view of the object, Colligan saw that the lights were actually illuminated windows situated in the center of a dull gray, saucer-shaped craft. He remembered being terrified at the sheer size of the object, estimated to be over 600 feet wide. As it passed over him, the top and bottom of the craft disappeared, followed by the lighted windows blinking out, leading to the object vanishing.

Comet Lovejoy & Hurricane Prediction

In the first hour, maverick physicist James McCanney talked about Comet Lovejoy as well as hurricane prediction. He said that NASA expected the comet to "melt away" as it passed close to the sun and were surprised when it went through the solar atmosphere and emerged as a Pluto-sized object. McCanney expressed great satisfaction with this turn of events since it appears to disprove the "dirty snowball" theory of comets and strengthens his own research. "This is exactly what I have been talking about," he marveled. McCanney also talked about how hurricanes are influenced by electricity coming from the atmosphere rather than water temperatures or other elements theorized by meteorologists.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-21-2011 - Secret Door XIII

http://www.mediafire.com/?gsvah55533c3whe  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Clint Arthur, John Rhodes, Lauren Weinstein, John Hogue

In our 13th edition of the 'Secret Door,' George Noory welcomed three surprise guests who discussed a variety of topics. First through the door, was a curious voice reminiscent of Truman Capote-- George was initially stumped as to its identity. It turned out to be a character voice done by none other than 'crypto-hunter' John Rhodes, who proceeded to chat about reptoids, lizard people, giants, and other anomalous beings. He recently ran across a report by the Native American Paiute tribe in Nevada, discussing their belief about a race that lives underground that is reptilian-humanoid in appearance. Further, some cavern systems might have winged humanoid beings living in them, Rhodes speculated.

Technology and privacy expert Lauren Weinstein was next through the door. Among the issues he addressed, was the messy situation occurring with technology patents. Ever since the US Patent Office started allowing patents on basic processes, a myriad of lawsuits have sprung up between technology companies trying to squeeze money out of each other, he explained. A trend he expects to see in 2012, is the continuing march of processing power of cellphones and portable devices, bringing in spectacular changes in the way we use these devices. There are also advances being made in neural interfaces, such as MRI machines that can show to some extent what a person is seeing through their eyes, he reported.

Last through the door was authority on prophetic traditions, John Hogue, who said he is just finishing up his new book on predictions for 2012. He addressed the notion of what he called "propheganda," in which people try to make or change the future. He also shared some of his predictions for the new year. He foresees a year of floods and upheaval, with possibly another large tsunami. Starting in February, we are entering "a mini-age of Neptune," an astrological period that will last until 2025, with millions displaced by floods, he said, adding that some nations will simply collapse from natural disasters.

'Last Year' Program

Riffing on the fact that we are now exactly one year before the end of the Mayan Calendar, first hour guest, author Clint Arthur talked about his 'Last Year of Your Life' program, in which people try to live each day for one year like it's the last year of their lives. He cited a Steve Jobs comment that the most powerful tool he ever had was knowing that he was going to die, as it stripped away all his fears. Arthur detailed three goals of his program: accomplish what's on your bucket list, create a legacy based on what is special about you, and have more fun than you've ever had in one year's time.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-19-2011 - Environmental Activism

http://www.mediafire.com/?h25d9n3r14yvdr3  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Erin Brockovich, Christopher James Clark

Legal clerk and environmental activist, Erin Brockovich, was portrayed by Julia Roberts in the Oscar winning film bearing her name. She discussed how she won her epic battle against Pacific Gas & Electric, and how she continues to challenge corporations around the country to help average Americans in their fight for toxin-free environments. The case against PG&E involved contaminated ground water in Hinkley, CA, and the movie portrayed the situation with about 95% accuracy, she detailed. A number of the cases she's subsequently worked on have dealt with contaminated well water. Some 30 million Americans get their water from wells, but there is currently no system for monitoring their safety, she noted.

Among the sites/cases, she's currently working on are Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, where thousands have been poisoned by a tainted water supply; Beverly Hills High School where some 450 kids came down with cancer, thought to be related to toxic gases emitted from an oil production facility underneath the school; and a 'cancer cluster' in a rural section of West Palm Beach, FL possibly related to pesticides seeping into the ground water. Brockovich announced that she is working with Google to create a cancer cluster map, highlighting locations where specific types of cancer are unusually high in number.

She also talked about her suspense novels Rock Bottom and Hot Water, in which she's created a character similar to herself who deals with environmental investigations. By telling a story that has truth in it in an entertaining fictional format, she hopes to ignite and inspire her readers to take action in their own communities. Brockovich said she fields many emails and queries from people who approach her about worker's comp and whistle-blower issues, environmental problems, pharmaceutical and disease issues, as well as corruption in government, and international concerns.

Globalizaton & Environmentalism

First hour guest, writer & researcher Chris Clark shared his concerns about globalism, which he believes is a long-term agenda of elites to gradually transfer sovereignty from nation-states to regional governments and international organizations, and eventually lead to a one-world government. Citing the writing of historian Carroll Quigley, such a one-world government would be authoritarian and bring in a new form of feudalism, Clark commented, adding that the environmental movement has been misdirected so as to serve the globalist agenda.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-18-2011 - Rock & Roll and UFOs

http://www.mediafire.com/?xf5fgu02nt9z8ez  <--

Host: George Knapp
Guests: Tom DeLonge, William Pepper

George Knapp was joined by Tom DeLonge, member of the band Blink 182, for a discussion on the weird world of rock and roll, his longstanding interest in UFOs, and his new website that he hopes will become a clearinghouse for paranormal news. They were joined by frequent photographer of rock musicians, Robert Knight, during the first half of the third hour. DeLonge traced his interest in the paranormal back to 7th grade and recalled that the first thing he did when his band signed a record deal, in the mid-90's, was to go out and buy a computer "specifically to go on the Internet and research UFOs."

As his band became more successful, DeLonge said, he reached out to UFO disclosure advocate Steven Greer and met him several times. At one point, Greer even gave him 36 hours of taped testimonies from government insiders sharing their knowledge of the phenomenon. Following that, DeLonge's phone lines began acting strangely, despite changing homes several times. In retrospect, he theorized that Greer's work was being facilitated by the government in the hopes of seeing how such UFO disclosures were being disseminated. As such, DeLonge surmised that those behind the plan were caught off guard when a rock star suddenly received the information and, thus, they began tapping his phone to see what he might do with it.

DeLonge also revealed some insights he's been afforded over the years thanks to his celebrity status and interest in the paranormal. He shared the story of a friend who visited NASA and inquired about UFOs. While the NASA official denied knowledge of the phenomenon, she did say that, after the final Apollo mission, the FBI came to the space agency and "took and destroyed all the technology and all the paperwork and everything on how to get to the moon." Additionally, DeLonge recounted a conversation about black triangle craft that he had with a pair of friends from the "deepest of the deepest engineering groups in the United States." After detailing how he believes the triangles are secret US anti-gravity craft, DeLonge said, the engineer gravely warned him that "you better be really careful with what you're talking about."

The RFK Assassination

During the first hour, William Pepper, the lawyer for Sirhan Sirhan, explained why he believes his client is innocent of the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy. He noted that, until recent changes in the law, Sirhan's case has been "mired in procedural quagmire" for decades without any opportunity for a fresh legal examination of the facts. Pepper detailed a litany of issues which suggest that Sirhan was not Kennedy's assassin, including audio forensics of the shooting as well as the analysis from a Harvard psychologist who asserts that the alleged killer was the victim of "hypnoprogramming." Having filed the necessary legal paperwork to challenge Sirhan's conviction, Pepper hopes for a positive ruling sometime early in 2012.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-16-2011 - Psychic Abilities & Christmas Symbolism

http://www.mediafire.com/?qtinq1wi1mgiia8  <--

Host: John B. Wells
Guests: Mark Anthony, Open Lines

Filling in for George Noory, John B. Wells welcomed lawyer and medium Mark Anthony for a discussion on his psychic abilities and work with spirits. Anthony revealed that he was born into a family with psychic abilities, and could see spirits from a very young age—an ability also shared by his parents. Anthony said he eventually embraced his mediumship and went on to study the topic of evidential mediumship at a formal educational institution. He defended his practice against those who would use the Bible to condemn it, noting that several biblical characters, including Joseph and Elijah in the Old Testament and Jesus in the New Testament, demonstrated what appears to be psychic medium powers. "We are all instruments of the will of God," he added.

Anthony spoke about the esoteric elements behind various Christmas traditions, such as the Star of Bethlehem. Two thousand years ago, adept astrologers known as Magi observed and tracked a unique alignment of planets in the constellation of Aeries, he explained. This astrologically significant event occurred on April 17, 6 B.C., will never happen again, and signaled the birth of a divine king in the region of Judea, Anthony noted. In 350 A.D., Pope Julius I declared that the birth of Christ would be celebrated in the month of December to supplant Roman pagan festivals, he added. Anthony also discussed the significance of the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh given to the Christ child, as well as how holly wreaths are symbols of eternal life. It represents the crown of thorns worn by Jesus at his crucifixion, with the red berries signifying his blood, so in a mystical sense the holly wreath is the gateway to eternal life, he said.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-20-2011 - Spiritual Intervention

Coast to Coast AM - 12-20-2011 - Spiritual Intervention

http://www.mediafire.com/?jbcrxyyan43dcrl  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Rosemary Ellen Guiley, Coach Bob

Leading expert on the paranormal, Rosemary Ellen Guiley, discussed her research on angels, holy entities, and interventions into the physical world by the spirit world. "There are beings out there who are available to be intermediaries for us and also to intervene and intercede in our affairs," Guiley said, "and many of them are helpful." She noted that these entities may be called by a variety of names, including angels, spirit guides, teachers, and totemic spirits, but they all seem to serve this same purpose. Over the course of the evening, Guiley also shared her thoughts on spirit communication, interdimensional portals, and 2012.

On the nature of angelic intervention, she put forward the concept that angels are around humans all the time and may even be assigned specific people to oversee and protect. In this scenario, the angel serves as "a battery of energy ready at any time to be called into action." However, Guiley said, the onus of responsibility lies with the human to "initiate this exchange of energy." She theorized that, when in a crisis situation, there may be something in our consciousness which calls out for divine intervention. That said, she mused that it is possible that "on a soul level" we have opted for these difficult experiences, which is why angels do not always intervene to save us.

Regarding miracles, Guiley contrasted the classic interpretation that they are simply a "gift from God" with her own belief that they are actually "a partnership of human consciousness, the divine, and cosmic forces in motion." To that end, she contended that humans have the ability to harness these cosmic forces to manifest miracles. "We are active participants, not passive recipients," she stressed. As such, rather than merely ask for a miracle, Guiley said that people need to ask what actions they need to take to facilitate change that will result in a greater good. "That's the mindset that we need to continue to develop," she mused, if we truly want to make miracles happen.

Less Stress for the Holidays

During the first hour, Coach Bob talked about the nature of stress and how to minimize it during the holiday season. He distilled stress down to the manifestation of our anger and fear - a survival mechanism for our ancient ancestors which now plagues us in modern times. Bob observed that many people will encounter friends or family who are angry, fearful, or full of negative emotions during this time of year. In order to diffuse that energy, he suggested reaching out to them and showing acceptance. If the person snaps at them, Bob said, acknowledge their stress and offer to help. "Be the calm person this holiday season, no matter what," he emphasized, "and you will not believe the wonderful time your going to have."

Host: George Noory
Guests: Andrew Colarik, Marshall Klarfeld

In the first half of the program, author and consultant Andrew Colarik talked about cyber attacks against the US by our enemies, the downed drone in Iran, and how identity theft could lead to terrorism. "We're getting, literally, thousands of attacks on all kinds of our infrastructure from all over the world," he declared, noting that the problem is under reported because it is so commonplace. Colarik was particularly concerned about the threat this poses to America's infrastructure, such as the electrical grid, water distribution, and waste disposal systems, since much of them are run remotely via a central computerized command.

Colarik strongly urged a "national discussion" on the issue of cyber attacks, what they may cause, and how to respond. "It should be a whole understanding by the American people," he said, which determines how the country wants to govern the cyber world and best protect our national assets and interests. Chillingly, Colarik also noted that the United States has not made a determination as to what constitutes an 'act of war' with regards to cyber warfare. He stressed that this lack of parameters leaves the country vulnerable to potentially calamitous missteps in response to a cyber attack. "You take the wrong escalation and you're going to create a problem that will effect not only you, but all of us," he warned.

-----------------------------------

In the second half of the show, researcher and author Marshall Klarfeld discussed the ancient ET race, the Annunaki, and how a possible cloaked space object, spotted near Mercury, could be one of their motherships. Based on his research, he surmised that the Annunaki created a mothership as a proverbial weigh station to facilitate their gold mining operations after they arrived on Earth. He cited the 11th tablet of the Epic of Gilgamesh as evidence for this mothership, since the story details how the Annunaki escaped the Earth during the 'great flood' and fled to the craft. In turn, Klarfeld asserted that the entities may not be on Nibiru, but actually much closer and watching us from the mothership near Mercury.

Klarfeld was also very intrigued by a crop circle which appeared in Poirino, Italy this past Summer. He contended that this formation, which he called "the most magnificent crop circle I've ever seen," was a communication from Enki, one of the Annunaki leaders. Contained within the crop circle, Klarfeld claimed, was binary code that spells out Enki's full name as well as a warning about radiation and a reference to a specific human gene. Based on this, he suggested that there may be an impending galactic super wave and the Annunaki are trying to alert the human race to the importance of the gene in surviving the effects of the subsequent overwhelming radiation.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-14-2011 - Paranormal Immersion

Coast to Coast AM - 12-14-2011 - Paranormal Immersion

http://www.mediafire.com/?e3zgif5u2gs7b1r  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Dave Schrader, David Kirkpatrick, Joshua P. Warren

Author, paranormal researcher, and radio host Dave Schrader discussed his lifelong immersion into the paranormal that began with visitations from his dead grandmother at the age of three, and growing up in a haunted house. He also had a communication from his deceased grandfather, who told him that when he died he was greeted by loved ones who had previously passed over. Curiously, when he hugged his grandfather before he left, it "felt like a shaft of warm, vibrating air." At the age of 11, Schrader had an unsettling encounter with a Bigfoot-like creature while visiting the Pensacola, FL area. The creature had a huge mane of grey-black hair and a deep inset face. In the ensuing years, he has come to suspect that Bigfoot are interdimensional in nature, and he happened to catch one traversing between its dimension and ours.

Schrader described witnessing UFOs and unexplained aerial phenomena when he visited James Gilliland's ranch on several occasions. On one night, he saw a set of lights in a triangle formation that seemed to blink on and off in response to laser lights shined at them, as well as an object shaped like a manta ray, that flew between pine trees. Gilliland told him that it was a "biological craft"-- half machine, half living organism. Schrader also shared his latest research on the black-eyed children phenomenon, eerie occurrences in which people encounter kids (usually groups of 2-3) outside their homes with completely blackened eyes, who typically ask to be let inside.

Another one of Shrader's visitations took place during a vivid dream, in which he met a "beat-up broken old man," who turned out to be angel. "Angels are hard, bent, battered. We fight on your behalf daily to protect you and watch over you, to fight the battle you don't even know you're in some days," the being told him. Paranormal investigator Joshua P. Warren joined the conversation briefly to talk about a trip to Transylvania, that he and Schrader are embarking upon in May, as they lead a tour group to 'Dracula's (Vlad the Impaler) Castle,' to separate fact from fiction.

Facebook Growth

First hour guest, author David Kirkpatrick talked about Facebook's phenomenal growth, even as some users are walking away from it over privacy, and other concerns. The social networking service currently has over 800 million users, including 2/3 of the American population, he reported. As the company gets ready to go public in an IPO, he expects the stock price to soar, and its value to exceed $200 billion within three years.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-13-2011 - Space & Faith

http://www.mediafire.com/?f6m8v7lunm0lf3k  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Brother Guy Consolmagno

Astronomer at the Vatican Observatory, Brother Guy Consolmagno, discussed space issues such as the question of ET life, Russia's interest in going to Phobos, dark energy, and the big bang theory as well as how faith and science can coexist. He explained that the Vatican's interest in the cosmos is driven by "the same sense of curiosity and mystery that fueled people to look at the sky since the beginning of time." In looking at the tremendous leaps in scientific insight over the last few years, he marveled that "half the things" he originally learned about space are now suspect, while radical ideas from as recently as ten years ago are now viewed as entirely possible.

Consolmagno shared an analogy that captures the difficulties faced by humans in trying to better understand our universe. He started by noting that the moons of Jupiter and Saturn are believed to have liquid water beneath a surface layer of ice. Supposing that there was intelligent life in those oceans, they would be restricted by the ice above them and the ground below, knowing only that world as their universe. These beings, Consolmagno said, would never be able to know they were just a small part of a much larger system of moons, planets, stars, and galaxies. "And then you ask, 'what are the things that we don't know that we don't know,'" he pondered, "what are the boundaries that are part of our universe that even we can't be aware of?"

Contrary to the idea that science and faith are mutually exclusive, Consolmagno said that every religion, even those that seem hostile to science, have scientists which belong to them. On a personal level, he attributed his faith as a key motivator behind his ongoing scientific work. "It's that sense that I'm touching the stuff that God made," he mused, "day in and day out, seeing how the universe works, I'm in a conversation with the creator." Additionally, he contended that greater understanding of our universe does not threaten the idea of God, but, rather, "as our universe gets bigger, I would say our understanding of the creator of the universe gets bigger."

TSA Issues

In the first hour, constitutional lawyer Jonathan Emord talked about the misguided approach of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). He pointed out that the agency spent 57 billion dollars in the last 10 years and has 65,000 employees, yet a recent investigation by Congress' General Accounting Office found that 17 known terrorists were able to travel, on 24 different occasions, and pass through 8 separate TSA screening locations. "The whole thing, sadly, is a game of smoke and mirrors," he lamented. During his appearance, Emord also detailed the FDA's attempts to regulate mobile medical apps and their court battle over putting graphic images on cigarette packages.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-10-2011 - Free Will & the Brain

http://www.mediafire.com/?xn5hpex2aujbs83  <--

Host: Ian Punnett
Guests: Michael Gazzaniga, Andy Hines

The father of cognitive neuroscience, Michael Gazzaniga, joined Ian to offer a provocative argument against the common belief that our lives are wholly determined by physical processes and we are therefore not responsible for our actions. He explained that neuroscience research reveals that decision making is based on a combination of "the information that was built into us structurally" as well as knowledge of previous experiences. He marveled that the human brain is a "finely honed machine" that "provides us, also, with this believe that we're in charge of running this thing."

Despite this perspective on decision making, he argued, it does not free people from accountability and responsibility, since these are societal factors that exist outside of the brain. "Responsibility is something that we humans assigned to the other person," he mused, "so if you are going to be a part of the human culture, I'm going to hold you responsible." In light of that, Gazzaniga suggested that criminal cases where the perpetrator is mentally disturbed, but clearly guilty, should result in a judgement of "responsible, but insane." He also predicted that neuroscientists may eventually be able to "fix" such mental issues, which will create a deep cultural debate over how to mete out proper punishment. "I don't say these are easy answers," he said, "I'm saying they're tough questions, but that's what we should be thinking about."

Gazzaniga was also dismissive of the religious connotations surrounding the debate over free will, which suggest that all of our actions have been predetermined by a proverbial 'higher power.' He contended that there were far too many variables and "there's no information system in the world that can possibly take that into account." With that in mind, Gazzaniga surmised that the concept of 'free will' essentially becomes antiquated because "we're not coerced by outside forces" and one is responsible for their own actions. Over the course of the conversation, Gazzaniga also talked about other brain-related topics such as research into the damaged brains of athletes and whether or not it would be possible to transplant a brain.

The Future of Consumerism

In the first hour, Andy Hines discussed how people's values are reshaping the consumer landscape. He observed that there appears to be a cultural backlash against consumerism where "people are rejecting this idea that consumption is going to make them happy." Hines noted that this perspective actually coincides with research which shows that, once our basic needs are met, "adding more money does nothing for our happiness." Hines put forward the idea that "authenticity" is one key concept which businesses would be wise to embrace as the future unfolds. He explained that the evolving consumer mindset expects to be treated with respect and told the truth, rather than be misled or coddled, which will lead to a greater level of appreciation from that customer.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-11-2011 - Billy Meier's ET Info

Coast to Coast AM - 12-11-2011 - Billy Meier's ET Info

http://www.mediafire.com/?86552jf8a57ttem  <--

Host: John B. Wells
Guests: Michael Horn, Craig Hulet

John B. Wells welcomed American media representative for ET contactee Billy Meier, Michael Horn, who shared Meier's tale of alleged contacts, as well as his prophecies based on information given to him by the benevolent Plejaren beings. Meier, who began having ET encounters as a young boy, is now approaching his 70th year of the contacts, which are totally voluntary, as well as being mostly physical (rather than telepathic), Horn explained. Since the 1950s, Meier has been publishing information given to him by the Plejarens that covers scientific, environmental, and global topics. And since 1975, Meier has been transcribing all of his conversations with the ETs, Horn continued, adding that the material is in German, some of which has never been translated into English.

According to Horn, much of what Meier wrote has proved to be prophetic (though critics accuse Meier of backdating his files), or uncannily accurate such as his descriptions of Jupiter's moon Io, which he said was the most volcanic body in the solar system, and contained encrusted ice (later confirmed by Voyager reports). Among his predictions of what is yet to come, in his 1987 prophecies, Meier wrote of Russia attacking several Scandinavian countries, as well as Iran, Turkey, and Alaska. He also wrote of a war between India and China, as well as a Civil War coming to the US, which will result in the division of the country into five different territories.

Meier claims the he is the only authentic ET contactee, and that he's a reincarnation of previous prophets like Enoch, as well as Jesus (whom he refers to as Jmmanuel). Most UFO sightings and abductions are actually covert military psy-ops, Meier has indicated, and aside from the Meier material, there isn't credible evidence for UFOs and alien encounters, Horn suggested. Interestingly, the Plejarens have told Meier that there are billions of other universes, and that they've traveled to two of them. One is a parallel universe to ours, and the second they were just recently able to penetrate.

Current Events Commentary

First hour guest, geopolitical analyst Craig B. Hulet discussed the possible passage of the Defense Authorization Act, which would place domestic terror investigations into the hands of the military. Because the bill's language is so vague, American citizens could be picked up under these new guidelines and imprisoned without trial, he warned. Hulet also commented on the Occupy Wall St. movement, which he criticized for being co-opted by various left-wing luminaries.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-12-2011 - Crop Circles & 2012

Coast to Coast AM - 12-12-2011 - Crop Circles & 2012

http://www.mediafire.com/?8bv6blp98k7rp91  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Colin Andrews, Ellen Whitehurst

Electrical engineer and researcher Colin Andrews coined the phrase "Crop Circles" 30 years ago. He discussed his research into the mysterious phenomenon, and its possible connections to the Mayans' calendar cycle ending in 2012. During a two-year period starting in 1999, he received funding from Laurance Rockefeller to study crop circles in England, and came to the conclusion that only 20% of them were real, i.e. not man-made-- a conclusion that angered many in the crop circle community. He found that the formations not made by humans, were with a few exceptions, "consistently of the more simple variety... [with] non-complex geometries."

As to who or what is creating the circles, Andrews suggested that it could be a "higher mind," such as an extraterrestrial species that's interacting with humans, as the messages evolve. While a low-level of directed microwave could account for the plant changes, the designs themselves contain mathematical, astronomical, and natural information, and fascinatingly, they are often "placed [in the field] in response to an individual's thought process, [or] prayer or meditation," he reported, citing a personal instance where a Celtic cross design appeared in a field near his home, after he made a mental request for it.

One crop formation depicted our solar system, and specifically referenced the date of September 2033, which Andrews was intrigued to discover corresponded to another end date for a different Mayan cycle. The date of 12/21/12 has a rare astrological alignment, and Israel and Iran may be drawn into a nuclear conflict around this time, he continued. Andrews also touched on encounters people have had with ET-type beings at crop circle locations, as well as a strange incident that occurred on the British TV network, ITN, when a metallic-sounding voice interrupted the program in 1977 and claimed to be an alien.

Nature of Luck

First hour guest, author Ellen Whitehurst talked about the nature of luck. She cited four ways a person can enhance or improve their luck-- maximize your chances for opportunities (such as networking), listen to your intuition or trust your gut instincts, expect to receive good fortune, and turn a negative situation into a positive one. She also suggested that the last thing you see before going to sleep, and the first thing you see when you wake up should be something that makes you feel positive and purposeful.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-09-2011 - Vintage Paranormal & Open Lines

Coast to Coast AM - 12-09-2011 - Vintage Paranormal & Open Lines

http://www.mediafire.com/?5mm593v3pex3mir  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Chad Lewis

In the first half, author and investigator Chad Lewis discussed vintage paranormal cases reported in newspapers from the period of 1860-1910. Lewis explained that, while researching specific cases that he was investigating, he began discovering weird and odd stories in old newspapers. As the serendipitously discovered tales began to accumulate, he decided to begin searching for such stories. The arduous process, begun in the days before search engines, saw Lewis sometimes going days without finding a story and then, when one would emerge, "it felt like winning the lottery." He observed that these stories often featured an attention grabbing headline such as "Woman Yawns Herself to Death," which was an actual article that Lewis discovered.

Other stories depicted mysteries that are still puzzling Americans today, such as Bigfoot and UFOs, as well as the potential origins for some modern urban legends. On Bigfoot, Lewis said that tales from the time reported creatures that were over 7 feet tall and described as a "hairy monster." According to these newspaper stories, such sightings would spawn "posses of hundreds of men" who would try to hunt the creature terrorizing the area. Regarding UFOs, he expressed amazement at how the stories recounted bright lights hovering over towns for up to thirty minutes at a time with numerous witnesses seeing the anomaly. Another eerie, recurring theme that Lewis uncovered were tales of people nearly being buried alive. He revealed that there are "thousands of newspaper reports" which detail a person being pronounced dead and then reviving moments before they were to be lowered into the ground.

-------------------------------------------------
Open Lines

The latter half of the show was devoted to Open Lines and featured callers sharing tales of ghost encounters, theories on the nature of the universe, and chilling predictions for impending world events. To that end, a caller simply billed as 'Lieutenant' and claiming to be a part of the Air Force, warned that the drone allegedly shot down in Iran was actually "landed there by nefarious forces within our own government." Citing the video footage which shows the drone as remarkably intact, 'Lieutenant' contended that the "plan" is for Iran to use the craft to deliver a nuclear bomb attack on the US or one of our allies. Failing that, he said, the story would serve as the basis for a false flag attack to be blamed on Iran and "this will perfectly spark World War III."

On a more uplifting note, Alex in Ontario, Canada shared an amazing story from his childhood in Iran. While on a family trip to the Caspian Sea, an old man asked for a ride, but they were unable to help him, since there was no room in the car. Upon arriving at their destination, they were stunned to see the man there, despite no cars passing them along the way. Alex's father struck up a conversation with the old man, who asked him how his parents were and what their address was. After learning this information, the old man closed his eyes and described, in detail, visiting their home. While still in the restaurant, Alex's father called his parents and was told that, just moments ago, a "beautiful old man" visited them. This visit matched the old man's description perfectly. "This is beyond comprehension," Alex marveled, "it's phenomenal."

Coast to Coast AM - 12-08-2011 - The Living Universe

Coast to Coast AM - 12-08-2011 - The Living Universe

http://www.mediafire.com/?783wqrcfmeobh64  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Duane Elgin, Tom Grier

Internationally recognized speaker, author, and social visionary, Duane Elgin, discussed how biology and physics show that the universe is not dead but rather uniquely alive, an insight which, he shows, is in harmony with all of the world’s major spiritual traditions. Plato said the universe is a single living creature that embraces all living creatures within it. Indeed, the universe is a whole, integrated system, with an infinite amount of energy flowing through it, he said.

Interestingly, quantum physics has pointed toward probabilities and uncertainties at the very foundation of reality. This quality of choice or freedom is part of the free will that living creatures have, he noted. Science is finding consciousness up and down the cosmic spectrum, starting at the level of an atom, which makes certain kinds of choices, Elgin pointed out. Another character of a living creature is the ability to reproduce, and recent theories have proposed that black holes may be shooting out matter to create a 'Big Bang' that spawns a new universe, he added.

Elgin outlined various stages of humanity's transitions & evolution, as we are at a pivotal time with increased difficulties from climate, the economy, and other factors. Humanity has matured from its childhood as hunter-gatherers, moving to its adolescence as a species on the edge of a planetary civilization, and is now ready to move past "parental institutions" that have held sway, he said. The unprecedented revolution in global communications are creating a kind of global brain that will support the awakening of our collective consciousness, and move into adulthood, as we tackle global challenges, he continued.

Lyme Disease Update

First hour guest, medical researcher Tom Grier shared an update on Lyme disease. A recent press release from the Mayo Clinic reported that multiple sclerosis (MS) often starts with an inflammation in the brain's outer layers. This correlates with what Grier had been proposing about Lyme disease, which he's noted bears certain similarities to MS. Prolonged antibiotic therapy is sometimes effective in treating Lyme disease, he added.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-07-2011 - Chemtrail Agendas

http://www.mediafire.com/?crj0ocas1ggs8go  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Michael Murphy, Craig Shirley

Journalist, filmmaker and political activist Michael Murphy discussed the agendas behind chemtrails (a type of 'geo-engineering' method). Chemtrails which differ from regular contrails, are sprayed from airplanes, and dissipate into what looks like cirrus cloud cover, which actually blocks the sun, he explained. Geo-engineering models suggest chemtrails can be used for weather modification. For instance, putting aluminum oxide particles into the atmosphere will have a desirable cooling effect, but in the long term the aerosols act as a blanket, and will lead to warming by trapping the heat in, he cautioned. There has been secrecy regarding the full scale deployment of this technology because it causes toxic environmental effects, and is detrimental to human health, he added.

Rain tests have shown there are toxic levels of aluminum, barium, and strontium that were not there before chemtrails came into usage, he reported, adding that these substances are associated with respiratory illness, high blood pressure, and possibly even cancer. Murphy postulated that corporations are clandestinely using chemtrails to manipulate natural systems including weather and soil, in order to foster marketing opportunities for goods and services tailored to the new environmental conditions being created. For example, there are GMO seeds that are sold as drought and aluminum resistant, he said.

Additionally, through geo-engineering and projects like HAARP, weather and atmospheric alterations are being adapted as warfare techniques, he suggested. For those who wish to take a stand against these developments, Murphy recommended visiting the Coalition Against Geo-Engineering.

Pearl Harbor Attack

On the 70th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack, first hour guest, author Craig Shirley talked about the aftermath of the attack, and how America was changed. While there were rumors that Roosevelt knew in advance of the attack, he was only aware of a more general Japanese threat to a number of targets, he noted. In the days after Dec. 7, 1941, bombs were discovered in bridges and dams around the US, and Japanese submarines off the West Coast were firing at both commercial and naval vessels, he detailed.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-06-2011 - Wartime UFOs

http://www.mediafire.com/?xysokbl2d6mg56i  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Mack Maloney, Michio Kaku

In the course of researching his novels, military fiction writer Mack Maloney discovered startling historical records of an increase of UFO sightings near pivotal military events. He discussed a variety of incidents from World Wars I & II, as well as Viet Nam and other battle zones. One of the earliest cases he found dated back to the time of Alexander the Great, when his army was planning a siege on the city of Tyre, and "flying shields" let out a lightning bolt that destroyed one of the city's walls, which allowed Alexander's army to get in. Proceeding WWI, "scareships" were reported by British newspapers in 1909. They were described as dirigible-like craft that emitted huge searchlights and could travel as fast 200 mph.

In World War II, there were reports that crews of allied bombers would see fantastic aircraft flying just 100-200 ft. off their wing. These strange craft, which became known as "foo fighters," would not take action or interfere with the bombings. One of the foo fighters was described as an enormous cigar-shaped, brightly lit craft that flew in formation with the bombers. Incidents such as these led Maloney to theorize that rather than ETs, the UFO occupants were time travelers who came back to observe significant time periods, such as during wars-- to see history as it was being made.

In the "ghost rocket" sightings of 1946, which took place in a remote area of Sweden, hundreds of long tubular objects flying in formation were seen. While they resembled cruise missiles, this was years before that technology was developed, he noted. Maloney also detailed bizarre incidents that took place in Viet Nam, such as when a bright object came down on top of an American base, illuminating the entire area, while all electricity was knocked out; and a UFO that hung over Hanoi for a period of two hours, while the North Vietnamese shot at it to no effect.

Giant Black Holes

First hour guest, theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku commented on the discovery of two gigantic black holes, as well as other science and space news. The black holes have a staggering mass that is 20 billion times that of our sun, and are 10 times the size of our solar system. Intriguingly, he suggested that the billions of stars that fell into such a black hole could be shot out the other end through a "white hole" in a process like the Big Bang.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-05-2011 - Lie Detector Secrets

http://www.mediafire.com/?pypgzowuiwybey2  <--

Host: Whitley Strieber
Guests: George Maschke, Dr. Roger Leir, John Greenewald

Guest host Whitley Strieber was joined by author, activist, and co-founder of antipolygraph.org, George Maschke, for a discussion on how the polygraph test has been established as the de facto method of determining whether a person has spoken the truth, although the process has not been scientifically proven to be accurate. In fact, the polygraph is based on "junk science," and uses trickery to obtain unreliable results, he stated. The polygrapher asks a set of control questions in which they are deliberately trying to get the person to lie so they can compare their physiological responses to their answers of the relevant questions, he explained. But such comparisons are based on an overly simplistic methodology, which can often yield results wherein the deceptive pass the test, and those who are honest fail, he continued.

If a person is telling the truth, they only have a 50% chance of passing the test, which is no better than chance odds, Maschke noted. Further, the expectations of polygraph testers can influence the results. Interestingly, when prospective employers such as the FBI use polygraph tests to screen potential new employees, 50% of the applicants fail, but when such testing is done of current employees there is a much higher pass rate, he detailed. This suggests to him that agencies can't afford to get rid of half their staff, yet careers do still end up being destroyed, such as FBI agent Rita Chang, who failed a polygraph, though she was never charged with anything.

Maschke believes that reading body language is also unscientific, and the best interrogation method is to work with established facts, and actually befriend the person being questioned. He advises people not to take the polygraph test-- not only are the results questionable, but police sometimes use the tests to elicit confessions from suspects without having a lawyer present. Anne Strieber also participated in the conversation.

FOIA Documents

First hour guests, Dr. Roger Leir and John Greenewald of the Black Vault, talked about obtained documents from an FOIA request that show interest in alien implants on the part of the Obama administration's Office of Science and Technology Policy. Their interest appeared to be concerning why press coverage of ET topics was eclipsing Obama's health care plan, Greenewald explained. He also detailed how an Air Force memo that included policies for reporting UFOs was pulled from a government website when Huffington Post reporter Lee Speigel began investigating it.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-04-2011 - Ancient Aliens

http://www.mediafire.com/?2qogqqm2n9fp50j  <--

Host: Rob Simone
Guests: Philip Coppens, Alex Jones, Greg Hunter

Guest host Rob Simone welcomed internationally renowned investigative journalist and author, Philip Coppens, who discussed Earth mysteries such as the Nazca lines and evidence for the existence of ancient visitation of astronauts from outer space. "Our ancestors definitely believed that we were not alone," Coppens declared, citing numerous cultures where their writings and traditions state that the 'gods' lived among them. He speculated that part of the reason why it is not better known that our ancestors were influenced by off-world beings is because their descendants were so poorly treated by Western culture that they became reticent to share this secret knowledge.

He also noted that the ancient astronaut theory faces two roadblocks from academia: the mainstream cannot accept that our ancestors held these beliefs and also refuse to contemplate that we are not alone. However, Coppens was optimistic by recent changes in the scientific community as the concept of panspermia, which suggests life originated elsewhere and naturally arrived on Earth, has begun to gain supporters. Additionally, he noted that there are some mainstream scientists who have suggested that ETs have visited our planet in the past, albeit before the dawn of human history. Coppens vehemently disagreed with this limited perspective, saying "archaeological, anthropological, mythological, and historical evidence from our ancestors clearly shows that this contact happened within the lifespan of human habitation."

Coppens pointed to the Nazca Lines as one instance where academia was forced to change their perspective on the abilities and culture of an ancient people. To that end, he credited pioneering esoteric researcher Erich Von Daniken, who championed the site as evidence for ancient astronauts and spawned intense interest in the mysterious landmark. Coppens observed that, after forty years of researchers studying the Nazca Lines, "they really have had to concluded that, yes, indeed, these people could take to the air." One potential form of flight used by the Nazca creators, he suggested, are seen in small artifacts known as "gold flyers," which scientists claim represented winged insects. However, Coppens pointed out that, in the 1990's, German engineers reconstructed a scale model "gold flyer" and it "flew perfectly."

NDAA Concerns

In the first half hour, Alex Jones talked about the National Defense Authorization Act, a piece of legislation that recently passed both houses of Congress and may have dire effects on civil liberties. He warned that, if the act is implemented, "it is truly an end of our Republic" and cited an ACLU study of the bill which called it "the most unconstitutional legislation in modern history." Facets of the bill which particularly trouble Jones are that it allows for the end of posse comitatus, which bars the military from domestic operations, and that it gives the Pentagon the right to secretly arrest Americans and hold them without a trial.

Iran Drone Claims

In the second half hour, Greg Hunter responded to the news that Iran claims to have shot down a US spy drone. While the American government has dismissed the severity of this claim, Hunter explained that the craft in question is "no little balloon" and actually costs 6 million dollars and boasts a 65-90 foot wingspan. As such, he surmised that, if Iran is telling the truth, they will showcase this downed craft to the media and possibly take action against the US. Hunter was particularly concerned that Iran could cut off access to the Straight of Hormuz, a critical oil shipping route, which would cause oil prices to skyrocket, and could, ultimately, set off a global conflagration.

Coast to Coast AM - 12-03-2011 - GPS Spying

http://www.mediafire.com/?hbhwpaa9o5iww9q  <--

Host: Ian Punnett
Guests: Kim Zetter, Lauren Weinstein

Two new federal GPS trackers have been found on an SUV in CA. The government says they don't need a warrant to use these devices to track anyone they want. Coast to Coast AM - 12-01-2011 - Spiritual Awakening

http://www.mediafire.com/?ccx19kd9skrb11e  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Jonas Elrod, Steve Hutensky, Geoffrey Simmons

Brooklyn based filmmaker, Jonas Elrod, and film producer, Steve Hutensky, discussed the true story of how Elrod suddenly began seeing and hearing angels, demons, and auras all around him, and how his journey for answers led him to physicians, religious teachers, scientists, mystics, spiritual healers and more. "It was like the dam caved," Elrod said, as he detailed the remarkable night when his abilities first manifested. While working on mundane tasks related to a previous film, he said, the temperature in the room dropped and kept getting colder. Following that, a large light appeared on the wall and "spirits and energies and entities started pouring into the room." According to Elrod, this episode lasted for six or seven hours and concluded with the entities telling him to "expose it."

A few months later, Elrod met Hutensky and they began documenting his struggle to not only cope with his newfound abilities but also determine their origin. They explained that Elrod first underwent an MRI as well as a psychiatric evaluation to determine if there was any medical reason for these experiences. After receiving a clean bill of health, the inquiry led to spiritual and metaphysical avenues. One particularly enlightening experience was a visit to a medium in Italy who has developed a way of photographing the entities that Elrod could see. He marveled that "the fact that it showed up on a picture was pretty mind shattering to me." Huntensky noted that the medium explained that these entities are warmer than humans and, in order to manifest themselves, must drain our energy, which is why temperatures appear to drop when ethereal beings are present.

On the nature of his abilities, Elrod opined that "we all have this to some varying degree" and pointed to intuition as a similar type of supernatural skill often taken for granted. The struggle to find out "why me," he said, has ceased and "I'm past that. I definitely feel peace with this process." Ultimately, Hutensky said that all of the experts, whether they were alternative scientists or more esoteric researchers, had a similar message which was to challenge Elrod to embrace his "wake up call." To that end, he observed that there appears to be an ongoing awakening, around the world, in large movements like the Arab Spring or in everyday moments such as when someone loses their job. "All sorts of things can get people on an inner journey," he mused, "and say 'there's more to life and I've got to get off the treadmill and figure something out.'"

Disaster Preparedness

In the first hour, Dr. Geoffrey Simmons talked about disaster preparedness, noting that many facets of being prepared for a disaster are "common sense" concepts, but few people consider them because they presume that "this can't happen to me." Simmons stressed that relying on first responders is foolhardy, because such help likely would not be able to reach them in a timely fashion. He shared a litany of specific preparedness tips, such as having two separate disaster kits: a small one for traveling, should one need to flee, and a larger one for their home in the event that they are stuck there for a lengthy period of time. Being cognizant of the medications one will need, having a plan for housing your pet, and tuning in to an emergency radio station were a few other suggestions that Simmons said could help people endure a disaster.

Coast to Coast AM - 11-30-2011 - Secret Space Research

http://www.mediafire.com/?3avp6wanghiiqvb  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Richard C. Hoagland, Jerome Corsi

C2C Science Advisor and head of the Enterprise Mission, Richard C. Hoagland, discussed the latest American and Russian unmanned efforts to reach Mars and what may be the true nature of those missions. He suggested that the agenda behind the Russian Phobos-Grunt craft is not to travel to the Martian inner moon, but to actually journey to the YU55 asteroid that recently passed by Earth. He theorized that the Russians are interested in this object because it is not merely an asteroid, but is actually a craft. The origins of this craft, Hoagland said, could be from an ancient civilization that once populated the galaxy but was destroyed in a massive war.

While the dueling Martian missions of the US and Russia may appear to be a new space race, Hoagland put forward the idea that it is really "a covert cooperation with the illusion of a competition." In this scenario, he said, the Russians are hoping to land their craft on the YU55 and take samples of it. Meanwhile, the Americans may have used their secret spy plane, known as the X-37B, to "rendezvous with YU55 as it comes through the system" and take detailed images of the object. Hoagland pointed to news that the X-37B was ending its latest mission early as a potential sign that "it's bringing something home." He cited a BBC report which quoted a Russian astronomer who described "strange structures" on YU55 as well as the repeated comparisons of the 'asteroid' to an aircraft carrier as potentially leaked clues to what the object really is.

Regarding NASA's Curiosity Rover, Hoagland surmised that, if his theories are correct, it will ultimately lead to the disclosure that there was once an ancient race of people on the Red Planet. He explained that the planned landing site for Curiosity is inside the Gale Crater on Mars, where a mysterious mountain sits in the center. The origin of this mountain, Hoagland noted, baffles astronomers. Based on his study of photos of this land mass, he contended that it is "an ancient structure." Noting that Curiosity is nuclear powered, rather than solar powered like previous Mars rovers, Hoagland speculated that perhaps NASA plans on using the vehicle to explore inside this ancient structure. Beyond that, he revealed that Curiosity's nuclear design will also allow for it to potentially be used to journey to Cydonia and examine the infamous anomalies found there.

Iran on the Brink

In the first hour, author Jerome Corsi provided an update on escalating tensions with Iran. He observed that the withdrawal of British officials from Iran represents "a complete deterioration of relations" between the two countries. Coupled with potentially crippling US sanctions, Corsi said that Iran likely sees these developments as "a prelude to war." The situation has become so dire, he lamented, that negotiations are likely to be futile at this point and that "a war is imminent." Additionally, Corsi warned that, should Iran fully develop nuclear weapons, then "immediately, there will be a half dozen countries" which will claim that they should have those weapons as well. Given the historically tumultuous nature of the Middle East, he opined that the region would quickly become a "powder keg."

Coast to Coast AM - 11-29-2011 - America & Geopolitics

http://www.mediafire.com/?8vvyv8zgop11gcj  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Robert Young Pelton, Aleya Dao

In the first half, journalist and adventurer Robert Young Pelton offered his analysis of America's problems, as well as various turmoil-ridden spots around the world, especially regions in the Middle East. In regards to the recent attack on the British embassy in Tehran, protestors picked this location only because Israel and the US don't have embassies there, and further, the protestors were staging the event for the TV cameras, he said. Syria's reform efforts will fail, as it is essentially a police state, Pelton continued, adding that he believes the Middle East will eventually settle down into a more successful, less violent environment, but it may take 20-40 years.

Russia, he noted, may be running out of steam, and will focus less on expansion as Putin's popularity fades. In relation to the many issues that face Somalia, Pelton created the Somalia Report website, which uses local journalists to covers various aspects of the region. Problematic trends that he sees in the United States are the emergence of a police state post 9-11, the decline of the middle class, as well as the vulnerability of power grids and communication systems. The US needs to reboot, make more products locally, and hold governmental accountable, he offered.

Energy & Healing

Appearing during the third hour, sound healer and energy practitioner Aleya Dao talked about planetary shifts & energies, as well as mass consciousness. She concurred with Carl Calleman's calculations that the Mayan calendar cycle ended on October 28th of this year, rather than in 2012, and that the Earth has been "launched out into a new energetic terrain in the Universe," which may be associated with increased earthquakes and natural disasters. Mass consciousness occurs when a group of people share a similar thought pattern. This can create coherence, and loving vibrations, or alternatively, anxiety and fear, she explained. Dao also presented samples of her healing audio meditations-- tones she designed to ground a person, or clear power blockages.

The final hour of the show featured Open Lines callers, some of whom shared their reaction to the Occupy Wall St. movement, and the breaking story of the LAPD moving in to evict Occupy Los Angeles protestors.

Coast to Coast AM - 11-28-2011 - Stargates & the Light Body

Coast to Coast AM - 11-28-2011 - Stargates & the Light Body

http://www.mediafire.com/?22opp5xn14zaj03  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: William Henry, Mary Ellen O'Toole

Investigative mythologist William Henry discussed his decoding of Gnostic gospels, and sacred art and their relation to stargates and the "light body." A stargate could be thought of as a link between suns or star systems, "a dot of real estate on the Earth" where the transformative energy or vibration from a particular star system saturates the ground, or an interstellar transportation system (possibly used at Stonehenge), he outlined. The ancient Gnostics were esoteric knowledge seekers who sought to reconnect with their higher self, and believed that in their light bodies they could travel in a cosmic conduit or stargate to the center of the Milky Way galaxy, which they referred to as Sion, he continued.

According to the Gnostics, Sion was occupied by ascended human beings, in a different plane of existence. Interestingly, back in the 1800s, the Mormons wrote about the city of Enoch located in the center of the galaxy, he noted. Rather than in craft, the advanced beings of Sion travel via a "beaming garment" or light body, and this is humanity's next level of evolution, Henry said. He shared the translation of a lost Gnostic text called the Revelation of the Magi-- the three Magi weren't following a star, but a "starchild," who manifested to them through a stargate. Further, this starchild or Jesus, told them that this wasn't his first trip to Earth. Henry was surprised at how much this text concurred with his own theories. Sacred art shows Earth linked by a conduit to the throne of God, which could be a kind of Stargate kit that the Gnostics wrote about, he added.

He also expressed concern over the dehumanizing direction technology may be taking us, with predictions that by 2035, humans will be replaced by machines. Humanity won't be able to achieve its full manifestation as the light body, if it goes in this direction, as machines lack the ability to love, Henry cautioned.

Evaluating Character

First hour guest, former FBI profiler, Mary Ellen O'Toole, talked about how to make decisions that are not guided primarily by gut feelings and emotions. For instance, when evaluating the character of a new person that comes into your life, it's beneficial to examine aspects beyond superficial details such as how they dress, & what kind of job they have, and look more at their specific behaviors and what kind of information you have available about them, she explained. O'Toole also cited the factor of "icon intimidation," whereby people in positions of authority such as ministers or coaches, might be given the "benefit of the doubt," even if they don't necessarily merit it.

Coast to Coast AM - 11-27-2011 - Vegas Killers & Crooks

http://www.mediafire.com/?aur2fh01yiyw6ax  <--

Host: George Knapp
Guests: Wendy Mazaros, Joe Schoenmann, Jim Carnes

George Knapp was joined by Wendy Mazaros and journalist Joe Schoenmann for a discussion on Mazaros' life with Tom and Gramby Hanley, a Las Vegas father and son hitman team who performed murders-for-hire on behalf of mobsters, casino owners, labor unions, and others. "It's very astounding that she was at the center of this human maelstrom," Schoenmann said about Mazaros' relationship with Tom Hanley and her indoctrination into his family's nefarious lifestyle. She traced her story back to a dysfunctional home which led her to runaway at the age of 15 and fall into the clutches of a powerful casino owner in Las Vegas. Following a tumultuous few years of prostitution and other sordid activities, Mazaros became romantically involved with Tom Hanley, a man with connections to the Vegas underworld.

After moving into the Hanley home, Mazaros said, she began to learn about the family's criminal dealings, such as bombings of restaurants that had run afoul of organized labor and murders of people that had crossed the casino owners. Despite her growing knowledge of the Hanleys activities, Mazaros was fearful of asking questions or seeking help. "Tom taught me from the very start that 'silence is the fence around wisdom,'" she recalled. So powerful was Tom Hanley's grip on her that, after they'd been together only a few months, he forced Mazaros to pen her own suicide note as a form of insurance should she ever stray. "I was a little girl brainwashed and afraid and running with killers and I did what I was told to do," she lamented.

Schoenmann and Mazaros detailed a litany of murders and disappearances that are believed to have been the handiwork of the Hanleys. While the official death count attributed to them was merely seven, Schoenmann speculated that, "from what Wendy's told me, it was 19 to 20 victims" and conceded that it "easily could have been more." The Hanleys reign of terror would come to an end in the late 1970's after they were arrested for the murder of a powerful Las Vegas union leader and cut a deal with the FBI to reveal the connections between the mafia and unions in the city. Looking back on Mazaros' life amidst such carnage, Schoenmann mused that "it's a pretty horrific story" and opined that her survival was because "she learned to keep quiet and that's what she did."

Carnes Case Update

During the first hour, Jim Carnes provided an update on the case of his father, Patrick F. Carnes, who was driving with his lifelong dog companion, Lucky, traveling west from Ohio to Reno when he went missing last April. He said that investigators are looking into a myriad of tips that have come in since the story first became publicized, noting that many truckers have contributed suggestions and information which may help lead to a breakthrough. While Carnes conceded that they have not ruled out any possibilities for what happened to his father, he was adamant that it is a solvable case. However, he expressed frustration that the nature of his father's disappearance precludes the FBI investigating it, because it is a 'missing person' case and not, technically, a crime.

Coast to Coast AM - 11-26-2011 - Animal Predators

Coast to Coast AM - 11-26-2011 - Animal Predators

http://www.mediafire.com/?8doxc53tp81lcch  <--

Host: Ian Punnett
Guests: Paul A. Trout, Galen Cook

Joining Ian Punnett, Paul A. Trout, retired professor at Montana State University, for a discussion on how ancient mythology about animal predators in search of human flesh has factual roots based on mankind's early history. He traced this concept back to the Pleistocene Era, when the human species was living and evolving on the African savanna. During that time, Trout said, humans lived amongst predatory creatures, like sabre toothed tigers and birds of prey, that were far more massive than their contemporary counterparts. He cited archaeological evidence which indicates that human beings were frequently eaten by these creatures, who likely saw man as easy prey, since they had yet to develop weapons to defend themselves.

Among the predatory creatures from the Pleistocene Era that Trout detailed were giant snakes that had a diameter of 18 inches and weighed 800 pounds as well as a bird of prey which weighed 50 pounds and could lift humans off the ground. Additionally, he said, there were massive dogs, weighing 200 pounds, that hunted in packs of fifty and bears that had skulls which were 3 to 4 times the size of a modern grizzly bear. Given this extreme preponderance of predatory creatures, Trout observed that our ancestors living in this environment would likely witness "stacks of bones littering the landscape" and hear the sounds of not only victims of these predatory animals but also their calls to each other while on the hunt. "It must have been very unnerving for our ancestors to live within this milieu," Trout mused, "that was nosy with death and littered with corpses, bones, and kill sites."

Trout also suggested that these living conditions resulted in a critical change in the human psyche. "We finally realized that one of the best ways of dealing with our fear of predators was to become the predator," he explained. He pointed to early humans donning animal pelts and hunting in packs as ways that they mimicked the creatures that once feasted on them. Additionally, Trout argued that mankind's role as prey laid the foundation for our religious belief system. He contended that the first gods which humans worshipped were predatory animals, which is the basis for the proverbial "fear of God." As man grew more sophisticated, he theorized, "we wanted to identify with a divine agent that was more like us" which led to the gods found in modern religions. In turn, Trout said, the idea of a "predator god" became fused with the devils of these religions.

D.B. Cooper Update

In the first hour, Galen Cook provided an update on the D.B. Cooper mystery, which marked its 40th anniversary this past week. Cook was dismissive of the recent news reports concerning titanium found of Cooper's tie, which was left behind during the heist, because such metalurgical evidence cannot conclusively determine the identity of infamous skyjacker. Conversely, he stressed that the letters allegedly sent by Cooper following his heist provide more tangible clues as to the identity and location of the legendary robber. For a detailed look at the Cooper letters, see Cook's report here. During Cook's appearance, the neice of his prime suspect, Bill Gossett, called in to the program and recalled how Gossett would routinely give large sums of money to her family and how her older brothers jokingly called him 'D.B.'

Coast to Coast AM - 11-25-2011 - Climategate & Open Lines

http://www.mediafire.com/?q1yk759zen5bd35  <--

Host: John B. Wells
Guests: Robert Zimmerman, Open Lines

Filling in for George Noory, John B. Wells welcomed space historian Robert Zimmerman, in the first half of the program, for a discussion about Climategate and other science-related issues. Zimmerman contended that Climategate was the "perfect example" of scientists distorting data to come to conclusions that were preferable to their research community. He pointed to money as the key factor which drove Climategate, since climate research is fueled by multi-billion dollar grants issued from various governments around the world. Additionally, Zimmerman surmised that misplaced "good intentions" have clouded the judgement of climate researchers who are adamant that global warming is an imminent danger to the planet.

Regarding the aftermath of the controversy, Zimmerman lamented that, rather than punish the scientists involved in the disputed findings, the research community "spent the next two years whitewashing those scientists that had committed that fraud." He called this turn of event the "biggest tragedy" of the scandal, since it undermines the public trust in not only the climate research community, but also the scientific establishment as a whole. Chillingly, Zimmerman warned that, in light of our culture's overhwelming reliance on science as a foundation for human knowledge, "if we don't trust our scientists or they become untrustworthy, then we're in big trouble."

Going forward, Zimmerman shared some solutions for fixing the damaged reputation of climate research. He first suggested expunging the scientists responsible for perpetrating the controversial findings from the climate research community. Beyond that, he called for an end to the United States' funding of the UN climate change research as well as stricter distribution of government funded grants to independent scientists. He also said that greater transparency is needed from climate researchers, who have been reticent to share their raw data in the past. Ultimately, he called on the media to do a better job of investigating the claims of climate researchers. To that end, he expressed dismay that much of the press has seemingly supported the embattled scientists and, even worse, appears to have not even read the complex leaked e-mails which began the scandal.

-------------------------------------------------

The latter half of the program was devoted to Open Lines and featured spirited discussion on the Occupy Wall Street movement as well as callers discussing UFOs, ancient astronauts, and chemtrails. Jeremy in Minnesota told his story of seeing a UFO which he described as a "bright shining light" with a tail pointing east. He claimed the object hovered for over four hours and left him baffled as to what it was. Later, Tom in Santa Rosa talked about the Occupy Wall Street movement and suggested the US government adopt "mandatory criminal charges for reckless corporations." Ronnie in Denver shared his concerns over chemtrails and said that he has seen them sprayed over the city in grid formations everyday for the last nine months.

Coast to Coast AM - 11-24-2011 - GMO Crops & Bigfoot Footage

http://www.mediafire.com/?xoowdi80iwjlbdk  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Eric Herm, Jeff Hilling

In the first half of our Thanksgiving show, fourth generation Texas farmer, Eric Herm, discussed how the turkey you just ate was probably fed with GMO (genetically modified) corn, and how the emergence of 'frankenfarming' is poisoning delicate ecosystems. He planted some GMO seeds back in 2005-6, but after he noted numerous warning labels on the packages, he began to investigate, and found that the seeds have genes of a pesticide and herbicide in their make up, as well as antibodies, and this is going into the food we eat. In studies with mice that were fed GMO foods, they suffered from spleen damage, liver atrophy, smaller organ growth, and accelerated aging, and for the last 15 years, humans have become guinea pigs in their unwitting consumption of these crops, he said.

GMO seeds sold and patented by Monsanto cost $400 a bag, and the company rakes in billions of dollars from their sales, he reported. Four major commodities crops in the US-- corn, cotton, canola, and soybean are now 90% GMO, and alfalfa was recently deregulated, he noted. To get back to healthier foods, the future lies in small organic farms, Herm commented, adding that organic fertilizers outproduced chemical agriculture. GMO seeds don't produce more than conventional seeds, and in a 30-year study, it was found that organic farming outperformed chemical agriculture, he detailed.

-----------------------------------

In the second half, Bigfoot expert Jeff Hilling discussed the enigmatic Patterson/Gimlin 16mm film and why after four decades he is not so quick to dismiss it as an elaborate hoax. In 1967, Bob Gimlin and Roger Patterson set out to make a documentary about the American 'Abominable Snowman,' and the sensational film footage they captured help to launch the whole subculture of Bigfoot, he said. Back in that time period, special effects were much harder to create than in our digital era, and if the creature in the film is actually a man wearing a monkey suit, it was unlike anything available either then or now, Hilling suggested.

Particularly noteworthy are the muscle and breast movement details, as well as the odd arm lengths that couldn't be replicated in a costume, he continued, adding that the film was shown to a Hollywood special effects team in the 1960s, and they said it couldn't be reproduced, or if they could it would cost a couple million dollars. But in recent years, a costume designer named Phillip Morris said he created the suit for Patterson, and it was worn by Bob Heironimus (video clip). Hilling responded that the costume Morris produced doesn't closely resemble the one seen in the Patterson film, and that Harris has changed his story over the years.

Coast to Coast AM - 11-23-2011 - Apocalypse Not

Coast to Coast AM - 11-23-2011 - Apocalypse Not

http://www.mediafire.com/?yh29tka1q61an03  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: John Michael Greer, Dr. Patricia Ariadne

Appearing during the middle two hours, longtime researcher and explorer in alternative realities, John Michael Greer, discussed his new work demonstrating how history has proven that apocalyptic and revolutionary notions such as the Rapture and the Singularity will never happen, but can be used to control the masses. When people become convinced that the world is going to end on a specific date (most recently Harold Camping), "they're facing a world of disappointment, consistently, every single time," he commented.

Noteworthy about various apocalypse myths is what happens afterward-- typically "somebody's fondest daydream," such as "we're going to be raptured to heaven and then watch everyone who's ever made fun of us get the crap stomped out of them," or the landing of Space Brothers who give us free energy, and whisk us away on their spaceships, Greer outlined.

Notions of the apocalypse can be used to distract the populace from political or economic issues, he suggested, adding that the more stressed out a society is, the more likely people will turn to apocalyptic scenarios, as a kind of relief. Regarding the Mayan calendar ending in Dec. 21 2012-- "The ancient Mayans didn't actually predict that anything in particular was going to happen on that date," it's just one of many dates, or rollovers in their complicated calendar system which has all kinds of cycles that finish at different times, he explained. The Mayans weren't waiting for the Apocalypse, he continued, but the end date of 12/21/12 caught the popular imagination in recent years, and people have been grafting various cataclysmic scenarios on to it since then.

The last hour of the show featured 'Miracle' Open Lines.

Dark Night of the Soul

First hour guest, Dr. Patricia Ariadne talked about how people can grow through experiencing the "dark night of the soul," a time of psychological and spiritual upheaval that may have arisen from pain, suffering, discontent, or disappointment. Entering a period of introspection, people can re-prioritize their life goals and activities, find spiritual authority and answers from within, and attain a kind of simplicity, she detailed.
