Host: George Noory
Guests: Gavin Menzies, Anthony Watts, Joshua P. Warren

Appearing during the middle two hours, author and former submarine Captain in the British Navy, Gavin Menzies, presented his theory of Atlantis, the legendary civilization described by Plato more than two thousand years ago. Based on his research, he's concluded that it was the Minoans living on the islands of Crete and Thera (Santorini) that were the center of the Atlantean civilization, some 4.5 thousand years ago, and they traded with and visited such locations as India, Egypt, England, and even North America.

Evidence for this includes shipwrecks found off the coast of Turkey from 1600 BC, 1300 BC, and 1100 BC, which were carrying cargo from around the world such as elephant tusks from India, hippo teeth from Africa, amber from the Baltic, and copper from the Great Lakes region, he detailed. The native peoples living in the Great Lakes area at the time share certain genetic markers with the Minoans, that other ancient Americans do not, he noted. The Minoan civilization was highly sophisticated with ship building, metallurgy, and their own written language, but a volcanic eruption on Santorini and subsequent tsunami wiped out their advances, and their Atlantean empire, Menzies said. He also reviewed his research of the Chinese and how they sailed to America years before Columbus, and that Columbus actually used their map on his voyage.

Climate Update

First hour guest, meteorologist Anthony Watts commented on a new report that levels of greenhouse gases soared in 2010. While there has been a slight increase in temperature in the long term, CO2 levels are just one of many variables contributing to this, he noted. Also, he expects to see colder temperatures than usual in the next 6-8 months, as well as a significant cooling trend starting in 2015 due to cyclical factors.

Joshua's Weird Halloween

Last hour guest, paranormal investigator Joshua P. Warren reported on his strange experiences this past Halloween. First, a self-proclaimed vampire named Dracon tracked him down, and proceeded to extract blood with a hypodermic needle from his female companion, and then drank it in front of him. Then, Warren said, he was invited to a party because he was told there'd be something there to especially scare him. It turned out to be a man in eerie costume & makeup as Robert the Doll. Warren also talked about a case involving a supposed alien mummy.

Coast to Coast AM - 11-02-2011 - Consciousness & Reality

Coast to Coast AM - 11-02-2011 - Consciousness & Reality

http://www.mediafire.com/?22huqecmiydexmt  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Dr. Vernon Neppe, Edward R. Close, Jerome Corsi

Neuropsychiatrist Dr. Vernon Neppe and physicist Dr. Edward Close discussed their work integrating science, mathematics, and philosophy with consciousness studies to arrive at their new paradigm shifting model-- "Reality Begins with Consciousness." Neppe (who appeared in the 2nd & 4th hours) pointed out how every 'Theory of Everything,' such as put forth by Einstein and Hawking, has had major failings because they haven't factored in consciousness into the equation. He described three levels of consciousness-- neurological, psychological, and a kind of meta-consciousness which pulls in information from all sources, and "technically would not require a brain...and implies infinity."

Meta-consciousness suggests that life-after-death is a reality, as consciousness can exist outside the brain, Neppe noted. "In our model, we cogently argue that time is not just one linear dimension that goes past, present, future, but that there are several different dimensions of time," and all of existence could be said to exist at the same time because "we have an extended amount of time that always is, was, and will exist," he continued. Dr. Close (appearing in the third hour) commented that scientific views have been limited for many years, and required a more expansive paradigm or framework.

Using mathematics, Close developed his theory of "dimensional extrapolation," which suggests the existence of additional dimensions-- at least 10, which coincides with what has been said in string theory. There are three dimensions of time, three of space, and three of consciousness, and a 10th dimension that is "transfinite," he detailed. Humans inhabit all of these dimensions, "however there are also other forms of consciousness that inhabit some of the dimensions" that may or may not impinge on what we experience through our physical senses, he explained. "The universe itself is conscious and intelligent and has an innate order to it," Neppe added.

Middle East Update

First hour guest, author Jerome Corsi pondered whether Israel is getting ready to attack Iran. There's been increased rhetoric that Netanyahu is preparing a strike, and that Great Britain has offered to participate with the Israeli effort, he said. There's also a possibility of a NATO-led attack against Syria, he reported, adding that "it's a tinderbox right now. Any action...could launch a major regional war with Israel at the center of it."

Coast to Coast AM - 11-01-2011 - Visitations & Spiritual Experiences

http://www.mediafire.com/?ay5d6t9oybl120c  <--

Host: George Noory
Guests: Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Dr. Bruce Fagel

Scholar, award-winning poet, Jungian psychoanalyst, and cantadora (keeper of the old stories in the Latina tradition), Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, discussed people's extraordinary or supernatural experiences, including spiritual visitations. Some cultures have tried to suppress or discount people's spiritual encounters, such as declaring that a person is mentally ill, if they say they've seen a religious apparition, or something that is greater than themselves. She disparaged this practice, saying "it's like putting a scourge on them," and telling them they are not worthy to have this experience.

Delineating our spiritual and psychological nature, she said the spirit is the animating force of the psyche, whereas the soul is a gigantic broadcasting and transmission system, capable of receiving from beyond the body and the mind. The soul could be thought of like the universe, while the ego is just a tiny island, Dr. Estes continued. Regarding people's supernatural encounters such as the appearances at Fatima, Lourdes, and Medugorje, she said "there's a huge force in the world, call it whatever you like. We are too small to comprehend it, but we have representations of it," such as the Holy or Blessed Mother.

These apparitions are called different names in various cultures, and the effects they have on people are more important than the specifics of what they see, she commented. Imagination is different from fantasy; it is the perception that allows us to see the other world, Estes stated. She also shared her own childhood encounter with a 'Blessed Mother' type figure, who came to her from the water on a beach. Later, her family denied her experience and told her she was seeing a nearby lighthouse.

Surgical Blunders

First hour guest, attorney and physician Dr. Bruce Fagel talked about surgical blunders and catastrophic medical injuries. "There are a lot of things that happen because of the complex interaction between physicians and nurses," and the assumptions made between them," he said, citing mistakes that happen during surgery, as well as the anesthesia process, and post-surgical monitoring. Medicine is not as heavily regulated as, say the airline industry, and doctors aren't checked for drug and alcohol use the way that pilots are, he noted.

Host: George Noory
Guests: Rick McCallum, Robert Pendergraft, Open Lines

George Noory hosted the annual Ghost-to-Ghost program, in which he opened the phone lines for listeners to share their tales of ghostly encounters. Veronica recounted her encounter with an eerie entity in Seattle on a hot August day. While taking a stroll along the street with her daughter and nephews, they spied a figure, oddly clad in a wide-rimmed black hat and poncho, coming towards them. As the entity got closer, Veronica saw beneath the brim of the hat and noticed that, in place of a face, "all that was there was cloth." The clothed visage had no holes for eyes or a mouth nor any bumps where the nose should have been. Intrigued, Veronica tried to communicate with the being when their paths finally met, yet it appeared to merely ignore her and silently continued onward once she stepped aside.

Terry in Topeka recalled taking a late lunch one afternoon and seeing a couple, that she knew from her days in college, also eating at the diner. She was perplexed because they both "looked so sad" and the wife seemed like she had been crying. When Terry tried to go over and greet them, she was violently pulled back by an invisible force and felt a subliminal suggestion to not go over there. Upon going back to work, she saw another college friend who looked distraught and sadly broke the news that the husband from that couple had died three days ago. "Everything made sense to me then," Terry reflected, since the wife at the table had appeared to be looking past her husband while he had been "staring in her eyes" as if "his heart was broken."

Serena told the story of her encounter with a sinister entity in Brighton, England at a youth hostel. Heading to the bathroom in the middle of the night, she saw a black fog in the corner of the hallway which emitted "so much malevolence and hate and anger, it was just terrifying." She tried to hide in the bathroom, but the darkness took the form of a man and said to her "you've got come out of there sometime." Serena then dashed back to her room with the entity hot on her trail. It pinned her down on the bed while saying that it was going to "show you how I died." She then felt like she was drowning inside of a barrel and "I could see the water closing over my vision." Suddenly, the spirit of Serena's dog astrally projected onto her legs and scared the evil entity away. "My dog actually saved me," she marveled, "I have no idea how he did it."

"Don't you 'Happy Halloween' me! There's nothing happy about this holiday," declared notorious caller J.C., who lamented that it was "the Devil's birthday." He groused that 'trick-or-treating' is a "protection racket," since children are "extorting candy" from people "in order to have protection not to have soapy windows." As such, J.C. explained that he prepared for Halloween by keeping an eye out for "evil cats" while turning on the sprinklers and turning off the lights at his compound.

Hollywood Ghost Hunters

In the first hour, stuntman Rick McCallum and creature effects artist Robert Pendergraft talked about the Hollywood Ghost Hunters and horror films. McCallum explained that he founded the group alongside actor Kane Hodder, who portrayed "Jason" in the Friday the 13th films, after they went ghost hunting while filming a movie at Ohio's Mansfield Reformatory. When they encountered a shadow person, Hodder actually chased after the being rather than away from it, which inspired McCallum to officially launch the HGH with him. During the hour, HGH members Hodder and actor R.A. Mihailoff, who portrayed "Leatherface" in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, also called in to the program to share scary stories and reflect on the popularity of horror films.

Host: John B. Wells
Guests: L. A. Marzulli

Joining host John B. Wells (email), author and researcher L.A. Marzulli discussed the signs that an unseen heavenly war being fought in another dimension is about to spill over into our dimension. Two forces have been battling for millennia with the entire cosmos as their playing field, and humans are the unfortunate pawns in their "cosmic chess match," he said, citing Lucifer, or the fallen angel, as the opponent on the dark side. As prophecy texts in the Bible have indicated, we are nearing the end of this war, and seeing the "birth pangs" that will lead up to the final seven years of tribulation, he continued. Prophecies of increased earthquakes, and other calamities are "being fulfilled like gangbusters," he added.

Various current events that are playing out have a supernatural component to them, such as the Arab Spring, said Marzulli. "It's softening up the objective," of creating a grand deception, by setting up a series of precursor incidents, he explained. A past sign of the supernatural is the Shroud of Turin, which according to Dame Isabel Paczek, shows evidence that the body was levitated in the tomb, in a kind of reverse Big Bang or singularity, he recounted.

He cited the practice of human sacrifice done by the ancient Maya, and other cultures, as bearing "the fingerprints of not only the supernatural, but a very evil entity, which up till this point in time has not shown himself overtly." Marzulli also spoke about Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA), wherein alter personalities are created in victims, turning them into assassins. Jared Loughner is possibly an example of this, he said. Additionally, Marzulli cited the bizarre behavior seen in the video Twins Madness in the Fast Lane, as indicating that the women could be hydrids like the Nephilim, or SRA victims. He also touched on the role that "aliens" and their implants will play in the coming great deception.

Host: Ian Punnett
Guests: Ingrid Dean, Frank Henenlotter, Julia Scheeres

Ingrid Dean, detective sergeant, forensic artist, and 20-yr. police veteran in the Michigan State Police Force, shared amazing stories from the front lines of law enforcement which were shaped by angels, apparitions, and unexplainable phenomena. Police officers Alan L. White, Herman Brown, and Anthony V. Rosales, joined the discussion throughout the night.

In the first hour, exploitation film director Frank Henenlotter talked about the weird world of Herschell Gordon Lewis, who directed the world's first slasher/gore film—Blood Feast (1963). Next, investigative journalist Julia Scheeres spoke about deception and survival at Jonestown.
