Host: George Noory
Guests: Michael Ellsberg, Joshua P. Warren

In the first half, Michael Ellsberg, who writes a blog on entrepreneurialism, career development, and education at Forbes.com, looked at flaws in the American education system, and recapped his discussions with self-made millionaires who say that street smarts and practical intelligence will take you farther than traditional academics. Many college graduates now owe large amounts of money on their school loans, but have low paying jobs. In fact, at one trillion dollars, student loan debt has surpassed credit card debt, he pointed out. Vocational schools don't necessarily offer a better option than universities, as the careers they train people for might be obsolete by the time they graduate, he continued.

Ellsberg suggested developing a universal set of skills that will be useful in any economic circumstance. These included learning how to network, and learning how to sell, not only products and services, but your own ideas, and yourself in a job interview. The current education process, with its focus on test scores, grades, and getting into college, ends up not having much meaning, and leads students into a kind of delayed adolescence without real world experiences, typically into their late 20s, he argued. Education is in the process of being massively transformed by technology, "and as that starts happening, the traditional monopolies of education, the selective universities, and on location campuses are going to find themselves facing some very stiff competition from cheaper alternatives through online self-education," he said.

In the 2nd half, paranormal investigator Joshua P. Warren shared his latest thoughts on what real vampires may be, and their relationship to evil people that leave behind wicked spirits. He recently visited the National Museum of Crime & Punishment in Washington DC, and took photos of serial killer Ted Bundy's car that he used to transport and torture victims. Bundy was known to eat parts of his victims, and said that 'sometimes I feel like a vampire,' and 'murder is about possession.' This led Warren to ponder if people with this kind of appetite might develop some ability to shape-shift.

"As we consume energy, whether we're eating plants or meat...that changes us, we actually all are...vampiric, and we're also all shape-shifting day by day," what we think of as aging, Warren explained. But if you have people out there like a Ted Bundy, who was actually able to escape a number of times (it was rumored he changed shape to shimmy out of tight spaces), their focus on evil, selfishness, & consumption could make them real life vampires, he continued. "They are bringing into their bodies an enormous amount of energy, and I wonder if this could accelerate this shape-shifting property," Warren said, adding that when someone like Bundy dies he might be enticed to remain earthbound, and with his vampiric tendency could morph into an evil spirit that haunts and possesses people.

Host: George Noory
Guests: Gary Stearman, Pat Boone

Bible prophecy researcher and author Gary Stearman presented a fusion of Christian and scientific study, arguing that key people in the Bible were transported through time and space, and that UFOs/aerial craft were described in the ancient books. Over 40 years ago, Stearman was flying a plane over Texas and had a life-changing UFO encounter. A disc around 100 ft. in diameter approached his plane, and probed his thoughts. Later, when he landed at the Lubbock airport, he discovered he'd been gone for six hours-- his plane only had enough fuel for 4 hours. This event led him to seek out answers from the spiritual dimension.

The Apostle John is an example of a time traveler in the Bible, said Stearman. In the book of Revelation, "he relates how he was praying at one point, and the Lord opened a door in heaven...'and the first voice I heard was as it were of a trumpet and the voice said come up here and I'll show you things that must be hereafter.'" John went on a guided tour of the future, traveling from around 96 AD to around 2020-2025, Stearman estimated. Rather than a flight of imagination, he believes John actually traveled through time. Joshua wrote a narrative of the sun going backwards, which suggests that time is malleable. Moses and Elijah also had time travel-like episodes, he added.

The story of Ezekiel's wheel in the Bible sounds like a craft sighting, and may have even described the experience of G-force, he noted. In the earlier book of Enoch, Enoch was said to enter a flying house and take a guided tour of Earth, he detailed. Stearman also talked about the philosophical nature of time, biblical prophecies, such as Daniel's "pivotal" message about the arrival of the Antichrist, as well as "transdimensional raiders," who could be considered angels from the dark side.

Pat Boone Studio Visit

First hour guest, actor/singer Pat Boone popped into the studio for a visit, reminiscing about his career. He recalled how he got his start in music, appearing on the Ted Mack Amateur Hour, and his experiences filming the sci-fi classic Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959). Boone also talked about the new edition of his book, Questions About God, which offers evidence for God's existence.

Host: George Noory
Guests: Stan Deyo, Holly Drennan Deyo, Howard Bloom

Authors Stan & Holly Deyo discussed possible cataclysmic Earth changes, and Hopi prophecy, which paints a bleak picture for the United States. As we approach the '5th World,' the Hopi foresee a huge water inundation in the Southwest, and a great Civil War, during which allied forces from Russia, China, and the Middle East will invade the US, Stan reported. Due to tectonic activity, "I think what's going to happen is we're going to have a catastrophic break up of the West Coast," that will lead to the flooding of Hopi mesas in the Southwest, he continued. Deyo shared a map that showed coastal regions of the US underwater, which he believes will happen from rising sea levels.

The Deyos detailed a dangerous scenario in the Canary Islands, where the volcanic ridge of Cumbre Vieja on La Palma Island could collapse and create a mega tsunami that within 8 hours would hit the East Coast of the US, coming around 16 miles inland. A fissure bisects the volcano, making the shelf very unstable, with around a half-trillion tons of rock that would fall into the sea, if there was a large enough quake to set it off, Holly explained. One of the other Canary islands, El Hierro, is currently in the midst of an earthquake swarm and some residents have been evacuated.

Holly also presented information about a little known way that pharmaceutical companies' profit. According to a military study, many prescription drugs have expiration dates that are listed as much shorter than they actually are. For instance, Cipro tablets are listed as having a shelf life of five years, when in reality it's 12 years. Stan gave an update on UFO activity, and announced that MUFON now has a Live Event Report Feed. For more on the topics covered by the Deyos, see this special page they set up.

Anti-Wall St. Protests

First hour guest, author Howard Bloom talked about the anti-Wall St. protests in NYC. The 'Occupy Wall Street' movement is catching on, with people discontent over unemployment and the wealth disparity in the US, enthused about participating in a movement bigger than themselves, he reported, adding that the protests have started to spread to other cities. Bloom noted that the American government itself was formed as a protest to Britain, and that protest movements can usefully call attention to problems when things get out of balance.
